Nimmer 2 shots back at Dogwood Am

Low scores continue to be posted at the Dogwood Amateur being played at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta.

Clemson golfer Bryson Nimmer is two shots back going into the final round.

Nimmer shot a 2-under par 70 to go with rounds of 65 and 68 for a 203 total and a tie for seventh place at 13-under par.

He trails Dawson Armstrong, Gaston Bertinotti and Lloyd Jefferon Lo are all tied for the lead at 15-under.

Three more golfers stand at 14-under par after 54 holes.

Boiling Springs High School golfer Trent Phillips shot a 2-under par 70 for a three day total of 10 under par.

Phillips is tied with USC golfer Caleb Proveaux and incoming Clemson freshman Turk Petit from Alabama for 15th place.

Georgia golfer Trevor Phillips from Inman is tied for 30th.
