Lutomski keeps a share of the lead at Greenville Am

First round co-leader Robert Lutomski  kept his share of the lead after the second round of the Greenville County Amateur.

The Holly Tree golfer is in competition with some very experienced company on the top of the leader board.

The next three golfers all have what Lutomski wants, a County amateur title.

Lutomski fired a second round 1-under par 71. He now shares the lead with 2013 champion Todd Hendley.

Hendley is a also a past SCGA Mid-Am and Senior Amateur champion. He shot a 3-under par 69 to tie Lutomski for the top spot going into the final round.

First round co-leader Chris Eassy, who won the Greenville title in 2004, shot an even par round of 72 and fell out of the lead by a shot.

He is tied with yet another past Greenville County champion Jeremy Revis. The 2002 County champion  tied for the best round of the day at Green Valley.

Defending champion Yancey Johnson bounced back from a 2-over par 74 in the first round by shooting a 3-under par 69 to climb into a tie for seventh place with Brandon Bradosky.

Bradosky tied Revis for low round of the day with his 5-under par 67.

The starting field of 144 golfers was cut after the second round. Golfers with scores of 15-over par or better get to play in the final round on Sunday.

The tournament leaders are scheduled to tee off on the first hole at 9:20 on Sunday morning.
