After missing last year’s postseason, Clemson women’s golf rebuilt its culture under head coach Kelley Hester — and capped the fall with a record-setting 18-stroke victory at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.
If golfers had numbers on their shirts chances are Larry Penley’s number would have been retired. But instead the retired record setting golf coach was presented with the highest honor a Tiger can receive, Penley’s name was placed in the Clemson Ring of Honor.
