Defending champion T.L. Hanna overcame a soggy start and stormy conditions at Coastal Carolina’s Hackler Course to claim its second straight 5A-II girls golf championship. Senior Marisa Scaletta led the comeback with an eagle 3 on the sixth hole and a closing 71 to win the individual state title, joining her brother Bennett as a South Carolina high-school medalist.
