Two tied for Budweiser lead at Boscobel

The largest amateur weekend golf event in the Upstate is and has been the Budweiser Classic at Boscobel

This weekend over 220 golfers teed off on Saturday morning to see if they could claim the championship.

Two golfers had outstanding days on the course in Pendleton.

Robbie Biershenk and Derrick Oyervides each shot opening rounds of 6-under par 66 to tie for the first round lead.

4-shot lead over Jacob Lord.

 

The tournament is now broken down into flights and the championship flight includes golfers who shot between 66 and 73.

Seven other flights will compete for prizes in the second round. The round will included two shot-gun starts. The leaders will play in the afternoon start around 2 PM.
