Morgan, from Spartanburg, won two tournaments during the season and had five other top-10 finishes

Furman’s Anna Morgan is the SoCon Player of the Year. Morgan was also the conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2021.

The Furman junior won the Lady Paladin Invitational with a record setting 13-under par performance. She added the UNF Collegiate title in the Spring.

Morgan played in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this past spring and is the top ranked individual golfer in the SoCon ranked number 38 in the country.

Ridgeway has coached the Wofford Terriers for 18 years.

This year her Terrier team earned the highest finish ever in the SoCon. The Terriers finished in second place, four shots behind the Furman Paladins.

Wofford won the French Broad Collegiate in November for their first 54-hole tournament victory since 2012 and added the Islander Classic in February by shooting the second-best round in program history in the final round of the tournament.

Wofford also saw Beca Earl win the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic in February, tying the program record for individual victories with the third of her career.
