California State University San Marcos leads after the second round, bolstered by an 8-under-par 64 from their top golfer, Madison Murr.
CSU-SM is 12-under-par through two rounds and holds a three-shot lead over fourth-ranked Dallas Baptist and a five-shot advantage over Anderson.
Thursday’s third round of stroke play will determine the individual champion and the eight teams that will advance to the medal/match-play playoff for the national championship.
