Masters champion Jordan Spieth will be on the first tee at Harbour Town at 12:40 PM on Thursday. He will be playing with defending champion Matt Kuchar and Patrick Reed.
Golf’s newest major champion honored his commitment to the Heritage and arrived at the course on Wednesday. Because of national media commitments Spieth was unable to play in the Pro-Am.
Spieth is the first Masters champion to play in the Heritage following a victory at Augusta since Zach Johnson came to Hilton Head after winning his green jacket in 2007.
RBC Heritage Tournament Director Steve Wilmot talks about how big it is that Spieth will play in the event this year.
