Keenan Huskey shot a 4-under par round of 68 to increase his lead to six shots at the South Carolina Amateur being played at the Greenville Country Club’s Chanticleer course.
Huskey eagled the 17th hole to go along with three birdies on the front nine and one bogey on the back nine. Huskey is now at 13-under par.
2008 champion Lee Palms shot a 3-under par round of 69 to remain in second place, but dropped on shot further off the lead.
Thomas Todd of Laurens turned in his second 3-under par 69 in the tournament to move up to third place after 54 holes.
Caleb Proveaux matched Huskey’s 4-under par round to move up to 4th place.
2012 champion Clemson golfer Carson Young 2-under par 70 to place fifth heading into the final round.
The best round of the day was turned in by Clemson golfer Blake Kennedy from Campobello who carded a 5-under par 67 in the third round.
The leaders, Huskey, Palms and Todd will tee off number 1 at 10 AM on Sunday.
