It has already been a very special year for William McGirt. The PGA Tour player from Spartanburg won his first Tour event and now has the chance to play in the Tour Championship for the first time.

William McGirt won his first PGA Tour event with a victory at The Memorial.

McGirt won the Memorial Tournament to boost his place in the Fed/Ex Cup standings. He finished the year with 7 top-ten finishes and placed 23 on the points list.

The tournament is being played at East Lake in Atlanta.
