Bryson Nimmer finished in a tie for 6th place at the Dogwood Invitational in Atlanta.
Nimmer shot a final round 2-under par 70.
The tournament included a number of top college players from around the country and the scoring reflected the quality of the competitors playing the Druid Hills Golf Club course.
Lloyd Jefferson Go from Seton Hall won the tournament.
He finished at 21-under par 267. Go was the Big East player of the year and a past Big East individual champion.
Luke Schniederjans of Georgia Tech was in second place one shot behind the champion.

Nimmer shot rounds of 65-68-70-70 to go 15-under par for a 273 total six shots behind the winner.

The SCGA Junior champion shot a final round 2-under par 70 to finish at 276, 12-under par.
Incoming Clemson freshman golfer Turk Petit from Alabama and South Carolina rising sophomore Caleb Proveaux tied for 17th place at 10-under par.
