Limestone “B” wins at the Beach

Limestone College “B” team won the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. The tournament was played at Ocean Ridge Plantation.

The Saints freshman Max Kalfjall from Sweden finished second in the tournament to hep the Saints get the victory. Kalfjall finished at 142 two shots behind Wanjoo Lee of Coker who won medalist honors.

The Saints are currently ranked 7th in the country. They won the team title at the tournament by three shots over Lincoln Memorial. Coker was third, Mount Olive was fourth and North Greenville was fifth.

Members of the winning Saints team were Zack Pritchett, Flip Sandberg,Peyton Shore, Logan Stewart and Max Kalfjall.

The Clemson men’s team earned their best finish of the fall at the Nike Elite Collegiate Invitational in North Plains, Oregon.

Competing in a tournament that included seven of the Top-25 teams in the country the Tigers finished in fourth place.

US Amateur champion Doc Redman missed the first Clemson tournament of the fall, but was back in the lineup for the event at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club,

The Tiger sophomore shot rounds of 67-69-68 to finish fifth. Bryson Nimmer finished in a tie for 10th place.

The tournament was won by Oklahoma. The Sooners topped Stanford by three shots with Vanderbilt finishing third.
