Furman and Clemson are within the top-5 teams at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
The top-six teams after Wednesday’s final round will advance to the NCAA Finals at Oklahoma State.
The Lady Paladins shot a 5-under par round to stand at 13 under par and in a tie with Florida State for third place.
Furman’s Jacqueline Bendrick tied her career best round by shooting a 4-under par 68. The Lady Paladin senior is now tied for eighth place.
SoCon Player of the Year Natalie Srinivasan carded another under par round. The Furman sophomore is tied for fourth place with Alabama’s Lauren Stephenson at 8-under par.
The Tigers fired one of the best team rounds of the day by going 9-under par to be in fifth place at 12 under par.
Clemson’s Sydney Legacy shot a 3-under par 69 to lead the Tigers. Legacy is in a tie for 9th place.
Ana Paula Valdes matched Legacy’s 3-under par 69 to move up nine spots to tie with teammate Kennedy Swann for 15th.
Alabama leads the regional at 18-under par with Washington in second place at 14-under par.
The Tigers have a 7-shot cushion over Arizona, currently in sixth place, and a 10 shot margin over Wake Forrest in seventh place.
In the San Francisco Regional the Gamecocks lost some ground. USC is currently in 12th place at 9 over par.
South Carolina has to catch five teams and make up five shots to get into the top six and advance to the NCAA finals.
