
Lincoln Memorial posted an 18-under par second round to take command of the Southern Tides Classic at Green Valley Country Club. The Rail Splitters won the Classic by 18 shots.
Lincoln Memorial ran away from the field with a sensational second round and went on to win the Southern Tides Classic at Green Valley Country Club.
The tournament hosted by Limestone and Coker College played 36 holes on Monday and finished up with 18 holes on Tuesday.

Tom Forster, from Carson-Newman shot a final round 5-under par 67 to claim medalist honors at the Southern Tides Classic.
The Rail Spliters from Harrogate, Tennessee trailed Coker by two shots after the first round, but in the second round of the day Lincoln Memorial shot lights out.
LMU was led by Dan Bradbury who fired a 7-under 64 and Luke Haries who carded a 6-under par 65 to account for 13 of the 18 shots the Rail Splitters were under par at the end of 36 holes.
Lincoln Memorial held a 13 shot lead over Coker going into the final round.
LMU shot a final round 3-over par to win the Classic by 18 shots. Coker and Carson Newman finished in a tie for second with Limestone moving up two spots in the final round to finish fourth.
Individually Tom Forster from Carson-Newman started the final round trailing Haries by one shot. The junior from Northamptonshire, England shot a final round 5-under par 67 to claim medalist honors by 4-shots.
Limestone senior Filip Sandberg shot a final round 3-under par 69 to move up two spots and finish as the Classic’s runner-up.
Austin Duncan from North Greenville matched Forster’s final round 5-under par 67 to move up 21 spots and earn a sixth place finish for the Crusaders.
