Playing in only his second AJGA event, Dorman golfer Nathan Franks won his first championship.

Franks shot rounds of 71-73-71 for a 215 total and a one shot victory over Maxwell Ford from Peachtree Commons, GA.

The Callaway Golf, Ollie Schniederjans Junior was played at The Country Club of the South in John’s Creek, Georgia.

Franks birdied the final hole in the final round to claim the victory.

Earlier in the same week Franks shot a 6-under par 66 to win the individual title at the Spartanburg County High School championship.

The future Gamecock golf commit was the only golfer under par for the tournament.
