The USC Upstate women’s team has done something no other women’s golf team has accomplished at the school.
The Spartans have won multiple tournaments in a season, something that has not been done before. They also set a single round scoring record in their win at the Golfweek Spring Invitational played at The Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in Myrtle Beach.
The team shot a new school record of 283 in the final round to finish the round at 1-under par and win the tournament
Upstate not only dominated the team scoreboard, the Spartans put four of their golfers in the top-10 at the 54 hole event.

Beem Pabsimma held off her teammate Praew Nontarux for medalist honors. It was the first college win for the Upstate sophomore.
Pabsimmas shot a final round 1-under par 71 for a three day total of 215. Nontarux was second at 3-over par 216.
Pan Paksanont finished with an even par 71 to claim fourth place while teammate Suwarin Yord-In was sixth. Abigayle Hatcher contributed to the team victory.
The Spartans take some momentum into the Big South Tournament to be played The Patriot in Ninety Six.
Stroke play begins on April 14th with the final round Match Play on April 17th.
