Get ready to follow your favorite celebrity at the BMW

Get your sharpies ready for autographs, and practice taking some selfies so you are ready for the celebrities at the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD-Synnex starting on Thursday.

The celebrities are split into two groups, each to play a round at Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg and Thornblade Club in Greer.

Fans enjoy a day of star gazing watching the celebrities and the outstanding golf played by the Korn-Ferry Tour players. (GolfClub Photo)

Both groups are loaded with stars from Hollywood, music and sports and while they often are serious about their golf, most can make time between holes or while they wait on a tee box to interact with the fans.

Keep in mind, many of the biggest stars, especially sports stars, are not crazy about signing their name to items that will show up on EBay the next day.

A few years ago Aaron Rodgers, the MVP Quarterback of the Packers didn’t sign footballs or his pictures. Those were items presented to him by obvious professional autograph hunters, but for regular fans he was most accommodating.

If you are hoping for a minute to interact with your favorite star or snap a selfie the tournament has always done a nice job of finding fan friendly stars for the event.

While Korn-Ferry Tour player tee times are usually not announced until the day before the event the tournament has announced the celebrity rotation for Thursday and Friday.
