Seems like we have been here before.
Going into the final round of the 64th South Carolina Golf Association Junior Championships the names at the top of the leader board look awfully familiar.
They should, because at the end of last year’s championship at Forest Lake it was Rowan Sullivan winning the championship over Luke Sullivan.

Starting the final round on Thursday at the Florence Country Club Luke Sullivan from Columbia will have a 1-shot lead over Rowan Sullivan from Charleston.
Last year the two played dead even until the final hole of the championship when Rowan Sullivan scared the par-3 finishing hole at Forest Lake with his tee shot.
It almost went in and when he sank his birdie putt he won the title by a shot over Luke Sullivan.
This year Luke Sullivan shot an opening round 5-under par 66 to trail first round leader Mason Kucia from Indian Land by a shot.
His second round 2-under par 69 moved him up past Kucia to take over the lead.
“Today was a solid day,” said Sullivan. “I didn’t hit it great, but my putting saved me. I made six birdies and four bogeys, so I’ve got to clean up the bogeys tomorrow,” he said.
The future Vanderbilt golfer finished at 6-under par 65 to be 1-shot behind the leader.

“Today was a great round,” Sullivan said. “I took it low on the front nine and then just tried to stay constant, keep the momentum going and not give any shots away,” said the defending champion.
First round leader Kucia shot a 1-over par 72 and is joined in a third place tie with Mitchell McNeil from North Augusta. Both golfers are just two shots off the lead with 8 other golfer also finishing the first 36 holes under par.
The cut to the final 72 was made at 9-over par.
The one-two finish for the Sullivans sets up a repeat of the championship final last year when the title was decided on the last hole.
“I was at the top of the leader board going into the final hole last year and lost by one, so I want to get revenge on that and just come out here tomorrow and give myself opportunities,” said Luke Sullivan.
“If I could replicate my putting today, tomorrow, I believe I could win. It’ll be fun to run it back again and play with Luke, he’ll have just as much motivation as anybody, and it’ll be fun to go at it with the other guys playing the best,” said Rowan Sullivan.
In addition to playing for the South Carolina Junior championship the top-8 finishers will make up the team for the annual South Carolina/Georgia Team Matches to be played July 29th to 31st at the Savannah Golf Club.
