There has not been a girls high school golf poll released yet this season, to the best of our knowledge, but if one came out tomorrow the likely top team would be Dorman.

The Lady Cavaliers won their second tournament against another quality field with a victory in the Palmetto Preview.

The Lady Cavs followed up their win last week at the Lady Rebel with a 10 shot victory in the tournament played at the Mid-Carolina Club in Prosperity.

Dorman shot a 313 total to finish in front of Pickens at 323, Lexington at 324 with Chapin at 328 and Seneca rounding out the top five at 329.

The Bobcats were led by medalist Ansley Bryson who carded a 5-under par 67.

Her winning score was a career best to go along with her first victory.

Bryson took the top spot by two shots over Dorman’s Abbey Franks who finished with a 3-under par 69.

Three golfers tied for third place. Ella Stalvey from Blythewood, Mia Gray from Carolina Forrest and Olivia Pellerin from Mauldin all finished with even par rounds of 72.

The next big girls high school tournament takes place next week with the annual Wren Invitational at Southern Oaks Golf Club.
