The Hanna Yellow Jackets were not ranked at the start of last season and used the lack of attention to help motivate the team to win the AAAAA state title.
This year, the Yellow Jackets have been the team to beat in AAAAA. They have not taken their foot off the gas since the start of last season and appear ready to zoom off with another state championship.
Hanna easily qualified for the Upper State AAAAA tournament, shooting a 282 total to finish 19 shots in front of Mauldin.
If you need another measure of the quality of the Hanna team keep this in mind, Caden Olsommer had the fifth-best score for the Yellow Jackets.
High School tournaments only count the best four scores for the team total. Olsommer shot a 76 to tie for seventh place.
The Hanna golfer made the All-Tournament team, but the rest of the team shot better than he did and his score was not needed to crown Hanna the Region champion again.
Erick Erienkeuser shot a 4- under par at Cobb’s Glen to win the individual Region championship.
Hanna will be back at their home course next week for the AAAAA Upper State qualifying tournament.

Where’s the results for Region 2 5A…Dorman, Byrnes, Spartanburg, Boiling Springs etc?
Missed this the day you sent it to us, sorry, with all the regions playing on the same day we asked the host teams to forward results to us. the ones that we posted were the ones sent to us.or sent to the coaches email network. I’m afraid we don’t have the staff to follow every team and we ask for help, you can see from the results the amount of cooperation we get, may i respectfully suggest the next time you dont see a result you want here, you take a minute to ask the coach if they bothered to report the results.Ive been doing this for over 30 years, with computers and email it is easier than ever to forward results and unfortunately the level of cooperation from many programs is the same as when results were sent in by carrier pigeon.thanks for checking out our page Stan
