The Greenville County Golf Association and Holly Tree Country Club teamed up to bring back the Greenville County Junior Amateur.
Young golfers from all over the county enjoyed the opportunity to compete for a title and several young golfers went away with trophies and the recognition as a Greenville County champion.

Peyton Gillespie (center) maintained her first round lead to capture the girls 13-18 division title.
The most exciting finish was in the boys 14-18 year old division.
Jack Wilson had the division lead going into the final round, but Sam Merrell was able to catch the leader and force a playoff.
It took one hole for Merrell to wrap up the County title. He was able to birdie the playoff hole to win the division title.
Tip Price claimed the title in the boys 10-12 division. Price finished two shots in front of Charlie Lamb with Hugh Faulkner finished in third place.
William Alexander won the boys age 7-9 division with Jackson Armbruster finished second.
Peyton Gillespie held the first round lead in the girls 13-18 year old division with an even par round of 72.
The Christ Church High School golfer finished the second round at 1-over par to be in front of Sarah Boteler and Kate Matthews who finished second and third.
The tournaments largest number of competitors was in the boys 13-14 year old division.
Jack Roberts dominated the field with rounds of 73 and 76 for a 149 total and a 10 shot victory margin.
Finishing second in the division was Tillman Alverson. Will Robinson was third with Jack Hoyle finished fourth and William Esmacher rounded out the top-five.
