Tigers finish second at Bandon Dunes

The Clemson Tigers made up some ground in the final round of the Bandon Dunes Championship. Clemson gained two spots to finish in second place behind the tournament champions from Arizona St.

Turk Pettit earned his third top-three finish after shooting a 6-under par 66 in the last round of the Bandon Dunes Championship.

Freshman Turk Pettit continued his outstanding play in his first year with the Tigers. Pettit shot the best final round and tied for the best score in the tournament with a 6-under par 65.

Pettit finished in third place two shots behind Chun An Yu of Arizona State who won the individual title.

Clemson Bryson Nimmer gave the Tigers a second player in the top ten with a seventh place finish at 207.

Pettit’s third place finish matches his 3rd

Bryson Nimmer gave the Tigers a second top-ten finish in Oregon. Nimmer finished seventh.

place finish at the season opening Carpet Classic. The freshman finished second in Puerto Rico to help the Tigers win the tournament.
