Holder Leads WSCGA Junior

Chloe Holder from Williamston has the first round lead at the WSCGA Junior Girls Championship.

Chloe Holder from Williamston was the only golfer to shoot under par in the first round of the Women’s South Carolina Golf Association Junior Girls championship.

Holder shot a 1-under par 71 at the Mount Vintage Golf Club.

Two golfers from Mount Pleasant are 2-shots back going into the second round. Kayla Bartemeyer and Kennedy Carroll both shot rounds of 73 to tie for second.

Chesnee’s Isabella Britt is in fourth place after shooting a 77.

Defending champion Rachel Rich, also from Mount Pleasant, is in fifth place after shooting a 78.
