Christ Church grad Harry Reynolds played a big part in the Indiana Hoosiers win at the Big 10 Match Play Championship.
This was the first championship in the event for the Hoosier golfers since winning the first match play championship in 2009.
The event was played in Palm Coast, Florida. All 12 Big-10 teams participated in the pre-flighted championship.
The Indiana Junior won all four of his matches in the tournament to help his Indiana team win the tournament.
Reynolds scored a 2 up win over Felix Kvarnstrom from Ohio State in the first round and then topped Lincoln Johnson from Minnesota in the second round by the same score.
In the semi-final round Reynolds earned a 3&1 victory over Coalter Smith from Wisconsin and followed the win with a victory over Iowa’s Mac McClear, 2 Up in the championship round.
Reynolds earned All-American Scholar honors and Academic All-Big10 honors as a sophomore last year in Bloomington.
This year Reynolds was named to the All-Big 10 Pre-Season honors team.
