While it isn’t quite “round up the usual suspects” there are a lot of familiar names at the top of each Classification’s Ranking.

Last year T.L. Hanna came from outside the pre season rankings to sweep to the AAAAA championship. The coaches poll has the Yellow Jackets on top of the pre-season ranking with good reason.

Bennett Scaletta not only won the AAAAA individual tittle last year, but also won the Jay Haas Junior Player of the Year award from the South Carolina Junior Golf Association for his outstanding 2023 season.

The future Air Force Academy golfer finished second to his brother last year .

Spartanburg and Lexington are seen by the coaches to be the closest competitors to Hanna for the big school title,

Last year North Augusta had a magical season and won the AAAA title. Most of that team has moved on including AAAA individual champion Evan Neal.

The coaches pick to replace the defending champs is no surprise.

Flora is always among the top teams not just in their classification, but in all classifications.

Greenville has future Clemson golfer Tip Price leading a team that has been chasing Flora for years.

The Wren Hurricanes are the pick to lead the AAA ranks.

The quality and consistency of the Hurricane’s program sometimes gets over looked because of the bigger names making headlines in the Upstate.
