Auburn golfer Ben Schlottman of Advance, NC won the Palmetto Amateur at the Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken.
The All-SEC First Team golfer fired a final round 4-under par 66 to win the title by two shots over former Clemson golfer Billy Kennerly.
Kennerly moved into second place on the strength of a 5-under par round of 65. The best round of the final day.
Third round leader Austin Langdale of Pendleton had a difficult day and finished with a round of 6-over par 76 to drop into a tie for fifth with Spartanburg’s Todd White.
Former USC Aiken All-American golfer Dane Burkhardt and USC golfer Sean Kelly tied for third place.
