Two time champion Whit Suber has a one shot lead after the first two rounds of the Purple Power Greenville County Amateur.

Suber has shot two identical rounds of 5-under per 67 at Holly Tree Country Club to hold the lead going into the final round of the tournament.

University of South Carolina golfer Keenan Huskey tied the record for low round in the county tournament shooting a 63. His 9-under par round shot him up the leader board and into third place three shots behind Suber.

Mac Johnson shot a 66 and is in second place one shot behind the leader.

Incoming USC Upstate golfer Matt Carter joined Johnson by posting a 66 in the second round and has moved into a fourth pace tie with first round co-leader Chris Eassy and Limestone golf coach Zack Siefert at 138.

Tee times start early Sunday morning with the leaders scheduled to tee off at 9:20.
