A pair of Web.com golfers with local ties are just three shots off the lead at the halfway point of the BMW Charity Pro-Am.
Matt Davidson followed up an opening round 65 at Thornblade with a 68 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. Davidson is now at 10-under par and just 3 shots off the lead.
Two-time Web.com winner and USC grad Wesley Bryan added a 66 to his first round 67 to tie Davidson in third place.
The tournament lead is held by Matt Fast and Heng Tsung Pan who are tied at 130.
The tournament field fought through difficult playing conditions at each venue to complete the Friday round,
Four groups are tied for the lead in the Pro-Am portion of the event. Among the leaders are the tournament co-leader Fast and his partner Joe Don Rooney.
The tournament continues at all three venues, Thornblade Club, The Preserve at Verdae and The Reserve at Lake Keowee on Saturday.
The cut will be made for the professionals and amateurs after 54 holes with the final round to be played at Thornblade Club on Sunday.
