Clemson rising junior Bryson Nimmer is in second place after the first two rounds of the Dogwood Invitational in Atlanta.
Nimmer has shot rounds of 65 and 68 to get to 11-under par and a total 133.
The Tiger’s rising junior trails tournament leader Dawson Armstrong, from Lipscomb University, by 2-shots going into the third round.
Several other golfers with Upstate ties are playing in the tournament at Druid Hills.
Boiling Springs high school golfer Trent Phillips is tied for 13th at 8-under par. USC rising sophomore Caleb Proveaux is at 6-under par and tied for 17th.
Incoming Clemson freshman Turk Petit is at 5-under par and tied for 25th.
Georgia golfer Trevor Phillips from Inman and Auburn golfer Trace Crowe from Easley are tied for 28th at 4-under par.
