The Daniel Lions won the Wren Hurricane’s tournament at Southern Oaks. The Lions are ranked second in the latest coaches poll of AAAA teams.

The first regular season poll has been released for South Carolina High School girls golf.

The poll is produced by the South Carolina High School Golf Coaches Association and reflects the information provided to the organzation or obtained from local news outlets.

Daniel High School from Clemson is ranked second in the AAAA poll. The Lions recently won the Wren Invitational at Southern Oaks in Easley.

The top ranked team in the classification is St. James. Upstate teams round out the top-five with Greenville ranked third, Pickens fourth and Wren in fifth.

The next ranking will be released after the Upper and Lower state tournaments held in October.
