Furman senior Natalie Srinivasan claimed her second college victory by finishing on top of the leader board at the Glass City Invitational played at the Inverness Club in Toledo.
The 2017 SoCon Freshman of the Year took a one shot lead into the final round.
After playing the front nine at 1-over par the Lady Paladin from Spartanburg closed out her round making birdies on four of her final eight holes.
Srinivasan finished the 54 hole event at 211 carding rounds of 70 70 and 71 for a 5-under par total and a 4-shot victory over Sierra Brooks from Florida.
“I am so excited to get my second individual win at Inverness this week,” said Srinivasan. “The course was very tough, and it challenged my focus. It was awesome to have Coach Hull out there with me and for the team to be so supportive, and I am very grateful for this opportunity,” she said.
Srinivasan won her first college event at the 2016 SoCon championship when she claimed medalist honors and earned All-SoCon honors.

“I am really proud of Natalie,” said Furman head coach Jeff Hull. “This was her second career win and one of the largest individual wins since I have been a part of this program. She played really solid all three days, but birdieing four holes on the back nine today on a very difficult course was just outstanding,” he added.
The Furman team finished sixth in the tournament won by Florida.
Carly Burkhardt, playing as an individual, posted the second best score for the Lady Paladins finishing in a tie for 15th place.
The Lady Paladins will next be in action when they attempt to defend their title at the Lady Paladin Invitational to be played at the Furman Golf Club starting on September 27th.
