Juniors make college choices official on Wednesday

Raleigh’s Doc Redman signed with Clemson in 2015 and went on to win the US Amateur, play on a Walker Cup team and is now a PGA Tour professional.

College golf recruiting does not get the attention that football and basketball recruits get when they announce their college choices.

ESPN does not cut into its programming to cover the choices made by the top junior golfers in the country.

Instead, almost always the junior golfer is making their verbal commitments offical by signing their National Letter of Intent to take their game to the next level.

We have been following many of the top juniors for years as they have progressed and built their golf resumes.

National signing day is on Wednesday, November 13th. Each year we try to provide information about as many juniors signings as possible.

While we have a good idea where many of the juniors will be playing college golf, we don’t know all of them.

If you are a coach, parent, grand parent, club member, golf pro or just a fan of a young golfer we are asking for your help.

We would appreciate receiving a photo of the junior signing along with some information on the people in the picture.

We will do our best to post as many pictures and as much information as possible

Natalie Srinivasan was a state high school champion at Dorman. She went on to be the consensus national college player of the year in 2020 at Furman.
Three time SCJGA Player of the Year Trent Phillips and his family celebrated his signing with Georgia in 2018. Phillips has gone on to be a first team All-American.

We can receive the pictures and information in a number of ways.

You can text pictures and information to us at 864-921-5471.

Email information to golfclubsc@gmail.com

We will also be monitoring our Facebook and Twitter feeds in case you wish to send the information on those social media services.

We will post the results of your submissions and our reporting on this site and on our Facebook page starting. on Wednesday.

Thanks for your help and congratulations to all the junior recruits.
