Christ Church and Roberts win Tee Off Classic at Star Fort

Christ Church shot a 295 total to win the Tee Off Classic at Star Fort. The Cavalier team included Coach Kristen Rooke, Jack Roberts, Jack Wofford, Walker Jennings, Jay Lowder and Clayton Duke.

Greenville’s Christ Church High School put up mid-season type scores on their way to winning the Tee-Off Classic at Star Fort Golf Club in Ninety Six.

The Cavaliers finished on top of the 16 team tournament with a 7-over par 295 total and an 8-shot victory over T.L. Hanna from Anderson.

Individually the Cavaliers Jack Roberts shot a 2-under par 70 to finish the 18 hole tournament tied with Jackson Scarlatta of Hanna.

Roberts was able to win medalist honors on the first playoff hole.

Spence Hagood from Cambridge shot a 1-under par 71 for third place. Wren’s Landon Sutton along with Jack Wofford and Walker Jennings from Christ Church tied for fourth at even par 72.

T.L. Hanna from Anderson was the runner-up at the Tee Off Classic played at Star Fort Golf Club in Ninety Six. The Yellow Jacket’s team included Coach John Rogers, Jackson Scarlatta, Connor Rekito, John Quartermain, Wells McDougal and Jacob Hill.

Wren at 321, Southside Christian at 323 and Greenwood at 324 rounded out the top-5 teams in the tournament.

The All Tournament team included Roberts and Scarlatta along with Spence Hagood from Cambridge, Landon Sutton from Wren and Christ Church’s Jack Wofford and Walker Jennings.
