The first High School rankings are out for girls golf and it looks like some familiar schools are at the top of each classification.

Chesnee, the defending AA champions. are the only winner from last year to start the season on top of their classification, but the teams that were in contention last year look to make another run at a state championship.

Chapin was the runner-up to Dorman in the AAAAA race last year and the Eagles have not wasted any time moving to the top spot in the first ranking.

The Eagle have notched two important wins so far this year.

A win at the Aynor Blue Jacket championship and the Palmetto Preview.
