The Lady Paladins have already won a handful of awards after claiming their third straight SoCon title.
Now six Furman golfers have been named to the All-Conference team. The Lady Paladins set a conference record with six golfers named to the All-Star squad. Keep in mind teams play only five golfers in a tournament and the league voters selected six Furman golfers to the 10 player all-star team.
Senior Taylor Totland becomes only the ninth player in the history of the conference to be named to the All-SoCon team four times.
Junior Alice Chen had a win and three second place finishes during the year. During her three years at Furman Chen has been named the top freshman and the Co-Player of the Year.
This year she has again been named to the All-Conference team for the third time.
Sophomore Haylee Harford won two tournaments during the season. She was the SoCon freshman of the year last year and is named to the All-SoCon team for the second year in a row.
Reona Hiria is a junior and recorded four top-20 finishes last season. She is named to the All-SoCon team for the second time this year.
Freshman Carly Burkhardt came in 10th at the SoCon tournament and has four top-20 finishes this year to be named to the All-SoCon team.
Natalie Srinivasan was the medalist at the SoCon tournament and was named the Freshman of the Year.
The Lady Paladin newcomer shot the lowest round of the year for Furman when she carded a 6-under par 66 at the Cougar Classic.
Srinivasan has three top-10s and 5 top-20s for the season.
In addition to the All-SoCon team awards the Lady Paladins coach Jeff Hull was honored as the coach of the year in the conference.
Haylee Harford not only was named to the All-SoCon team, but was also given the award for the top academic average among Southern Conference teams.
