Some of the lack of Region results we have for you here was caused by weather and some was caused by no reporting.

Here is what we can report on play today.

Region I AAAAA will try again on Wednesday to get their Region championship completed at Legacy Pines near Mauldin. Rain and lightning kept golfers off the course.

Last week Daniel Brasington won the Spartanburg County High School championship and helped his Woodruff team to the county title.

The combination of Brasington and the Wolverines did it again with a win in the Region III AAA Championship.

Brasington shot a 69 to finish 3-shots in front of Ethan Holcombe from Chapman.

The rest of the all region team was the same as the winning Woodruff team.

Of the six All-Region players, five were from Woodruff.

In addition to Brasington, Trey Howard, Gage Howard, Ben McKinney and Chase Turner from Woodruff won all-regions honors.

We have just a scant amount of information from the Region II AAAAA Championship played at the Country Club of Spartanburg. We asked for pictures and this is what we found.
