The opportunity for full time play on the Web.com Tour is in reach for both Andrew Novak and Sean Kelly.
The two area golfers enter the final round of the Web.com Q School tournament on Sunday.
Both golfers took a step back from outstanding second rounds with their scores on Saturday.
Kelly shot his first over-par round of the tournament when he carded a one-over par 73 to drop 47 spots on the leader board. Kelly stands at 9-under par with a 207 total.
Novak shot a one under par 71, but still lost ground to the rest of the field. The Wofford grad is now tied for 59th place at 8-under par.
The tournament leaders are Sung Jae Im and Lee McCoy. Sung Jae Im shot a 12 under par 60 to tie McCoy at 134.
The winner of the Qualifying tournament gets to play the full Web.com season as an exempt player.
Golfers who finish between number 2 and number 10 will be exempt to play in the first 12 events of the new season.
Finishers between number 11 and number 45 are exempt for the events in the early part of the 2018 Tour.
The remaining players in the final receive conditional Web.com status.
